Evie clutches her newest prized possession, ""Sleeping Beauty" DVD.
Great Evie one-liners while opening gifts:
• First thing Evie says to Lala on Christmas morning, "I wanted TWO Pillow Pets."
Ah, sheesh... I can't win (I can tell you Evie never even did anything with the ONE Pillow Pet a month later...)
• After opening a pink plastic jewelry box from Lala & Pop-pop, she opens the box to reveal a musical ballerina inside... *pause*, "Where's the jewelry?"
Ah, gratitude.
• A slight break in the gift opening, Evie is pawing at a new dinosaur-themed floor puzzle. I ask, "Evie, you want to put this puzzle together in the other room?"
Enthusiastic reply, "No! I wanna open more presents!"
• Opens up a new DVD and announces what it is, "Toy Story 3! .... 'cause I'm 3!"
• "Is this for me?" holding up a gift for someone else, "I want another present...."
